The combined service for 2016 will be known as Converge and will join Shine and Getaway as our three major combined activities for the year.
Converge is an opportunity to
- Gather as one body
- Align our vision and values
- Work as one toward our goals
- Focus on the Lord and His glorious gospel
This year CS will preach “Compelled by the Gospel” reminding us that all we do is based on the foundation of the Gospel. Over the 4 weeks following this event the ministers will be working together to preach a common series which will include the following topics
“Servant Spirit” - We want to guard against a consumer mindset and cultivate a servant spirit.
“Mission Minded” - We are driven by a passion to see people come to Jesus
“Disciple Making” - Our vision is to make disciples of all
“Passionate Worship” - We see the importance of our Sunday gathering and being affected by the glory and beauty of God in our worship.
